Introducing our 2026 Eraserhood Fest Artist in Residence: Ally May Cordera 💫
🔮 Through our Artist Residency Program, we invite a local artist with a personal connection to grief and transformation to help shape the visual identity of the festival — creating the official poster, street sign logo, select zine artwork, and a live art activation that brings the spirit of Eraserhood into the world.
🧠 Ally is an aspiring art director who loves taking ideas from brain to brand — stitching together copy, design, and illustration the way a mad scientist might assemble a masterpiece in Frankenstein’s lab. Born and raised in New Jersey, she moved to Philadelphia to study Advertising & Art Direction at Temple University, and spends her spare time collecting spooky art and reading horror novels.
🌃 Over the next few weeks, Ally will be aiding in building the visual world of Eraserhood Fest 2026, drawing inspiration from the gritty industrial history of Callowhill-North Chinatown and the surreal legacy of David Lynch.
👁️ Come meet her at our official Eraserhood Fest Kickoff Party & Poster Reveal next Sunday March 22 5pm-9pm at The Velvet Whip!
