Velvet Whip is one of a kind artist-curated club with weekly live music, performance, cocktails, and creative connection. Membership is more than access — it is an invitation to belong to a creative community, bring guests into the room, support an artist-led stage, and return throughout the year for wide range ofof music, performance, and discovery. Here at Velvet Whip, you will befriend local musicians, meet rising stars and run into seasoned stars who want to give back to the community, mentor the next generation. Alley Cat

$50 / yr

For the curious, the social, and the Velvet Whip regular-in-the-making who wants to belong, bring a guest, and stay connected.

Honey Badger

$150 /yr

For music lovers and creative regulars who want to make Velvet Whip their Tuesday–Thursday home for live music, connection, and discovery.

Unicorn

$2000/yr

For patrons who believe artists should have a home and want all-access entry to Velvet Whip’s artist-led world of live performance.

Application timeline:

Application: Once an application is submitted, please allow 72 hours to receive a response. Approved application will be notified with the next step to complete your registration. Applications that aren’t approved with also be notified.

When your application is approved: When your application is approved, you will receive an email containing a link to finalize your membership regustration.

When your application is not approved: When your application is not approved, you will receive an email of explanation and next steps.

When your membership registration is complete: When your followed the link to finalize your registration, you will receive an automated membership activation email, this email is sent to the email address used to complete the registration. It is IMPORTANT that you must click on the activation link to access your membership portal and obtain your membership code/digital card. If you do not activate your membership, your membership ID will not be generated automatically, therefore your physical membership card cannot be generated.

Digital membership card VS. Physical membership card: Your digital membership card contains all elements of your membership, including your name, member’s code, type and a QR code that can be scanned at door. It can also be stored in your smart phone wallet. Your physical membership card is a business card size card that contain the same information. Members can use both or just one.

How and where to pick up your physical membership card: Once your membership is activated, your Digital Membership Card will be viewable inside your membership portal. You may also download your digital card to your Apple Wallet for easy access when visiting Velvet Whip.

Members who would like a physical membership card may pick one up at Velvet Whip by the bar.

Tuesday–Saturday
6:00 PM–8:00 PM
At the Velvet Whip bar

Please bring a valid ID that matches the membership name.

Membership type that is “grand-fathered” in: If you hold a membership type before June 23, 2026, you will be able to renew under the membership pricing that you initially joined. If you choose not to renew, it will no longer be active, and can not be renewed under same pricing in the future.

Membership Etiquette

Digital Membership Card & Physical Card Pickup:

Velvet Whip memberships are purchased through Ticket Tailor.

  1. Once your payment is complete, an automated Membership Activation Email will be sent to the email address used during registration.

  2. Please open the activation email to complete your membership setup. From there, you can activate your membership portal and manage portal-related details, including updating your name, email address, and membership information.

  3. Once your membership is activated, your Digital Membership Card will be viewable inside your membership portal. You may also download your digital card to your Apple Wallet for easy access when visiting Velvet Whip.

Members who would like a physical membership card may pick one up at Velvet Whip by the bar or directly with our GM.

Membership Notes:

Renewal: Each annual membership is subject to automatic annual renewal unless member actively cancels or unsubscribes it in member’s portal.

Cancellation: Members may contact Velvet Whip to cancel membership by emailonly.

Weekend shows: Private rentals, outside promoter events, fundraisers, and select premium weekend ticketed events may be excluded unless otherwise stated, except for Unicorn Tier.

Guests: guests do not need to be members, but all guests must show valid ID and pay any applicable show cover unless included in the membership tier or otherwise stated, the two drink minimum also applies.

Referral: Membership applications may require referral by an existing member in accordance with club policy and applicable regulations.
