While Velvet Whip is a multi-disciplinary live event space, we are generally not suited for show/events which might attract more than 75 people including Rave, Hookah based lounge event (smoking, vaping are prohibited in the venue), larger dance gatherings, adult parties or shows/events go pass 3am.

Snare drum has the screw for the clip missing so the snare strings cannot be enabled.
*No hi hats or hi hat stand. No cymbal stands.
STAGE MEASUREMENT:
Dimensions of the stage is roughly

RIGGING POINT:
We have one primary rigging point: an electric retractable winch with a maximum height of 8'2"
We do have two additional anchor points located to the left & right of the main winch. Both are roughly the same height as the winch and about 3.5 feet apart.
POLE:
Pole does spin, we prefer it to stay in spin mode.
Height is about 9'7''
We have some stage curtains and other obstacles at the top; utilizing the full height would be hard to use

If your event is ticketed, you will likely get 100% or 70% ticket proceeds back (varies based on booking fee amount) when you commit to a booking fee structure. The booking fee serves beyond just “a fee”, it:
pays back your overhead plus ticket revenue.
guaranties our business over head & operating cost against rent, staff, insurances, musical licensing and other miscellaneous business costs.
shows your commitment to creating/promoting professional shows/events with us
assures us to commit to promoting your show/event over other opportunities
Also shows that you respect our business policies, commitments and effort to create a safe, complaint and professional venue space

For ALL rental or show/event inquiries, the first step is always-
Fill out the booking inquiry
Receive an initial response
If we agree to host your event, we will send you a draft event/show/rental agreement that includes all details about the event/show. Please review and approve.
We will send you an invoice for payment, or you can send via Venmo.
When rental payment is receive, you event is confirmed on our calendar. we will send final agreement via Docusign.
Booking fee/rental deposit is due at the time of booking, or deadline is minimum 60 days before your proposed show/event date.
If your booking fee is delayed, your event/show is NOT confirmed.
We generally do not hold event/show
