THE GOOD KIDS GONE BAD-A MUSICAL COMEDY VARIETY SHOW 01/04/2024

The Good Kids present:

Good Kids Gone Bad: A Musical Comedy Variety Show. Starting with a suggestion from the audience, The Good Kids create a fully improvised Broadway-style musical right before your eyes. Every word, every note, every song is a spontaneous effluvium seeping from the demented group mind of Philly’s longest-running musical indie team. Founded in early 2018, the Good Kids have performed throughout the greater Philadelphia area and are thrilled to be back at the Velvet Whip for a fun-filled variety show that's sure to cure (or exacerbate) your holiday hangover!

Your MC for the evening is Host and Bit Lord Betty J Smithsonian, Philadelphia's favorite freelance clown and creator of the Big Ass Bitties Show (The Stupidest Comedy Show You Have Ever Seen). The Good Kids will also be joined by burlesque superstar and producer Isa Ardiente (Tits and Tins, Wepa!!, Nudey Tunes! among others). Isa is a multi-faceted artist and fan favorite in the Philadelphia burlesque scene who has performed all over the world. Finally, our very own musical director, Dan Perlman, will regale you with his unique song stylings. The Good Kids will close the show with a brand new, completely improvised musical inspired by an audience suggestion: an hour-long show that has never been seen before (and will never be seen again). Doors at 7PM, show at 8.

The Good Kids are: Martin Cordoba, Gabby Formica, Teresa Gero, Paul Hazen, and Derrick Houck. Music Director: Dan Perlman. Emeritus and hiatus: James Burvant, Anthony Cipollo, Eibhleann Clyne, Nic Gomes, Kim Loux, Mariah Min".
