Good Kids Gone Bad: A Musical Comedy Variety Show & Jam

Starting with a suggestion from the audience, The Good Kids create a fully improvised Broadway-style musical right before your eyes. Every word, every note, every song is a spontaneous effluvium seeping from the demented group mind of Philly’s longest-running musical indie team. Founded in early 2018, the Good Kids have performed throughout the greater Philadelphia area and are thrilled to be back at the Velvet Whip!

Your lineup includes our host and Stand-Up comedian Tom Hannigan, followed by Palestinian Burlesque artist Leila Delicious (she's smoother than olive oil and thicker than hummus). Then, The Good Kids will present a brand new, completely improvised musical inspired by an audience suggestion: an hour-long show that has never been seen before (and will never be seen again). Following the show, The Good Kids will host a musical improv jam giving YOU the audience a chance to jump on stage and try your hand at making up scenes and songs on the spot! Doors at 7:30PM, show at 8.

The Good Kids are: James Burvant, Martin Cordova, Gabby Formica, Teresa Gero, and Paul Hazen. Music Director: Dan Perlman. Emeritus and hiatus: Anthony Cipollo, Eibhleann Clyne, Nic Gomes, Derrick Houck, Kim Loux, Mariah Min, Michael Raab
