PLAYYA BALL SHOW BY HUDSON RIVER

Hudson River is a rising star in the Philadelphia music scene. Her skillful and emotional playing on the vibraphone is breathtaking, and will doubtlessly linger in one's mind long after her performance is completed. With her 12 piece and counting band, she’s putting together Philadelphia’s first comedy, funk, costume show and jam!

This show is inspired by Dave Chappelle’s 9th Annual Player Hater’s Ball Skit.  Come dressed in your best 70’s pimp and ho outfits, your instruments, and ready to laugh this Halloween for a night of fun and goooood funky live jams!

Above are some costume and show inspo for the night. Show out because you have the opportunity to win the $100 Best Dressed Playa and/or Ho Award! The First Annual’s Playa’s Ball with be at the Velvet Whip Speakeasy on Saturday, October 19th. Doors are at 7:30pm, show at 8pm!  $15 tickets onlie/$20 at the door.

There is free parking on 11th and Carlton on a first come first served basis.  See you there or be square!!
