Originally conceptualized as OPERA JAM, the “Opera, broadway and musical theater jam” aims to provide a practical, fun and relaxed networking event for singers in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, and surrounding states! LIVE ACCOMPANIMENT BY TING-TING WONG (CURTIS INSTITUTE).

WOOOOoooo is Temple University’s OwlCappella?
OwlCappella is Temple University's first co-ed a cappella group, founded in the Fall of 2010. The group performs a diverse assortment of musical styles, from pop to R&B. In the 16 years since its creation, the group has made significant strides, including a performance at the White House for the 2016 holiday season, opening the red carpet at the Philadelphia Auto Show’s Annual Black-tie Event, and opening the 85th Radio City Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. In 2018, OwlCappella was one of the top 10 groups in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, and went on to place 1st in the ICCA Mid-Atlantic Quarterfinal the following year!

Rouge Nightingale is an entrepreneur, mentor and multidisciplinary artist with background across animation, fine art, and operatic performance. Rouge sings regularly with classical industry as well as modern and contemporary genres such as hiphop. burlesque and cabarets.

About
Reese Reevak has been active in the Philadelphia region as a vocal coach and collaborative pianist since 2006.
Reese received their bachelor’s degree in music composition and pursued graduate studies in collaborative piano and vocal coaching at Temple University, and they joined the faculty of the Curtis Institute of Music in 2012.
Reese has worked with Opera Philadelphia, the Castleton Summer Music Festival, the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus, the International Institute of Vocal Arts in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and International Opera Theater in Citta della Pieve, Italy. Recent productions include Carmen, Otello, and The Wake World, among numerous recital and choral engagements.
Reese enjoys learning foreign languages and is conversant in Spanish, Italian, and French, with a working knowledge of German and Russian. In their spare time, they also enjoy writing music and poetry, and spending time in the Wissahickon Valley Park in Northwest Philadelphia.
