HOT FIX SIDE SHOW-TRAVELING TO PHILLY!

HOT FIX IS COMING

FOR YOU

Straight from New York’s underground sideshow scene, Hot Fix Sideshow storms into Philadelphia for one night only at Velvet Whip Philadelphia on Saturday, August 22 at 8:30PM. Featuring a rotating cast of daring performers including Cyclone Jack Sullivan, Kita St. Cyr, Maggie McMuffin, The Trickster Bruises, and Queensiñera, Hot Fix has built a reputation for blending classic sideshow spectacle with modern theatrical chaos — from fire performance and sword swallowing to dark cabaret energy and punk-circus mayhem.

As part of their 2026 touring run, the troupe is traveling from New York specifically to bring their wild, immersive brand of sideshow to the Velvet Whip stage for a late-night Philly takeover. Expect danger, glamour, absurdity, audience interaction, and the kind of underground performance art you don’t stumble across twice. If you’ve been waiting for a night that feels equal parts carnival fever dream, downtown cabaret, and outlaw theater — this is it.

About

Cyclone Jack Sullivan

Cyclone Jack Sullivan is a New York-based sideshow and variety performer known for blending classic carnival danger acts with sharp comedic timing and punk-cabaret energy. A staple of the underground neo-vaudeville scene, Jack’s performances move between fire manipulation, stunt work, audience interaction, and theatrical absurdity — channeling the spirit of vintage traveling sideshows through a contemporary downtown lens. His stage presence balances danger with humor, creating performances that are both chaotic and strangely elegant.

Kita St. Cyr

Kita St. Cyr is a multidisciplinary burlesque and sideshow artist celebrated for her seductive stagecraft, theatrical storytelling, and dark glamour aesthetic. Drawing influence from underground cabaret, vintage burlesque, and surreal performance art, her acts often blur seduction with spectacle — creating immersive moments that feel intimate, dangerous, and dreamlike all at once. Kita brings a cinematic quality to the Hot Fix stage, combining elegance with raw underground energy.

Maggie McMuffin

Maggie McMuffin is an internationally recognized burlesque and variety performer known for her playful theatricality, bold visual style, and genre-bending performances. Her work combines humor, classic tease, cabaret spectacle, and avant-garde performance traditions into acts that are simultaneously polished and delightfully unpredictable. As part of Hot Fix, Maggie contributes a sharp sense of wit and glamorous chaos that anchors the troupe’s modern sideshow identity.

The Trickster Bruises

The Trickster Bruises is known for visceral physical performance, dark humor, and immersive audience engagement rooted in circus arts and experimental theater. Combining stunt work, body-based spectacle, and unpredictable improvisation, their performances often push audiences into uncomfortable, hilarious, and exhilarating territory simultaneously. Their work embodies the raw, underground ethos at the center of Hot Fix’s artistic identity.

Queensiñera

Queensiñera is a genre-defying drag and performance artist whose work fuses nightlife spectacle, political satire, queer performance traditions, and avant-garde cabaret. Known for commanding stage presence, extravagant visuals, and immersive crowd interaction, Queensiñera transforms each performance into a surreal theatrical event. Their contribution to Hot Fix adds a layer of radical glamour, irreverence, and contemporary underground performance culture to the troupe’s explosive live shows.
